In October 2006, Oscar Diving Video Limited opened a branch on the beautiful island of Tobago, Republic of Trinidad & Tobago. This charming island is located in the southern part of the Caribbean Sea, just 10 km from the coast of Venezuela and outside the hurricane belt.
Tobago is a small tropical island (41 by 14 km) with white sandy beaches, palm trees and rain forest. It has pristine coral reefs with a wonderful variety of marine life.
The southern coast of the island is the Atlantic Ocean side, while the northern coast is part of the Caribbean Sea . The two oceanic environments meet at the west as well as the eastern part of the island. In these areas exists an abundance of plankton and cru-stations as a result of the converging currents. The dive sites in these parts of Tobago attract lots of pelagic fish and other predators, which provides a fantastic backdrop for the footage in our diving videos.
